Mesh Payments partners with Deel to unify expenses for the global workforce

Your team isn’t in one place anymore, and it isn’t on one payroll either. Direct employees sit in your ERP flow. EOR workers, contractors, and international hires get paid through Deel. The work looks the same, but the expenses live in two different worlds: one where your policy, receipts, and reporting apply, and one where they don’t.

That split is exactly the kind of manual, invisible work finance teams inherited without ever choosing it. Someone exports a CSV. Someone re-enters expenses into a second system. Someone chases a contractor about a receipt that already exists somewhere else. Nobody signed up for that job.

Today we’re announcing a partnership with Deel that ends the split. Mesh Payments now connects directly to Deel, so every worker, on every Deel model, submits expenses in Mesh like everyone else, and every approved expense lands in the right payroll on its own.

How it works

Everyone submits in Mesh. Employees, EOR workers, and contractors use the same app, the same policy, and the same receipt flow. No second process, no side doors.

Mesh routes it automatically. One field synced from your HRIS tells Mesh who’s who. Approved expenses flow to your ERP for direct employees, and straight into Deel as payroll adjustments for workers paid through Deel. The integration supports every Deel model: EOR, contractors, PEO, Global Payroll, and US Payroll.

Paid through Deel, tracked in Mesh. Deel runs its approval and compliance process and pays each worker in the next payroll cycle or invoice, always in the contract currency. Mesh tracks the whole journey and shows the live status right on the expense, including the reason if Deel declines. Your finance team sees everything in one place, without logging into two systems to reconcile.

What this means for finance teams

No more parallel expense processes for your Deel workforce. No CSVs, no double entry, no chasing. Policy is enforced once, in Mesh, for everyone. Expense-level detail stays in Mesh and your ERP, even where payroll systems summarize. And because Deel workers can also carry Mesh corporate cards, most out-of-pocket spend can disappear before it starts.
