  • When you sign up for a trial period and then cancel, you face the risk of losing all of the trial content.
  • You must cancel a membership manually 24 hours before the trial period expires.

What Happens to Your Account When You Close It

When a subscriber cancels their membership, it does not erase your data or log you out of your Xero account. Your data is instead archived, and your company can be resurrected. Cancellation is limited to a single organization. If you have many subscriptions with different companies, canceling one won’t affect the others.

Select “Subscriptions” and billing after clicking the organization’s name.

Select “Manage Subscription” from the drop-down menu.

To cancel your subscription, click “Cancel”.

Choose a reason for the cancellation and then select “Confirm cancellation”.

Your organization will stay on your Xero organization list after you’ve canceled your membership and your notice period has expired. It is not possible to remove it from the list.
