How to Cancel Your
Akamai Services Subscription

In this guide we’ll walk you through the steps of how to cancel your Akamai Services subscription.

Companies competing in globalized markets apply CRM or Customer Relationship Management strategies. Akami is one of these companies that rely on CRM to improve their service quality.

If you want to start with this Akami service, create an account, and with it, you will have all the access and billing administrative capabilities.

It is important to note that you can suspend payments or cancel the service at any time. When doing the latter, you will no longer be able to access the data in Akami after a certain period.

This guide will walk you through the steps to cancel your subscription to Akamai services.

About Akamai Services

Akamai is a customer relationship management solution that connects businesses with customers.

Akamai uses a comprehensive CRM system as a foundation, integrated across all departments, including marketing, sales, commerce, and service while maintaining a single, shared view of each customer.

With Akamai, you only need to log into your account to manage your subscriptions, for which you have several options, including changing order data, such as date, quantities, and adding products.

You can also add a one-time purchase, update billing information, and cancel your subscription all from one place.

Steps to Take Before Cancelling

Akamai has a dedicated team dedicated to providing exceptional service. They understand that canceling a subscription may not be that easy for you. That’s why they try to give the best user experience.

You need to be logged in to cancel your subscription; go to the “Manage Subscriptions” option, and click on the “Actions” column. In the “Edit” link, click and then select “Cancel your subscription.”

Before canceling the account, it is suggested to validate that there are no pending invoices or orders in process and deactivate the automatic payments option. These steps will avoid charges once the account is canceled.

You will always have the option to reactivate your subscription with Akamai; just consider that you only have a specific period to ask for your reactivation.

What Happens to Your Account When You Close It

When you close your account, you will no longer be able to use your Akamai account after a reasonable period.

It is important to note that closing your account does not cancel the automatic billing or payment process unless you deactivate that option, so you may continue to be billed.
