Mesh is a global B2B SaaS Travel & Expense platform built on a simple bet: the best T&E is the kind nobody has to use. We’re entering a new stage of growth, and putting real weight behind it – leveling up AI adoption, building Product practices that can scale, and growing the leaders who’ll take us there. We’re looking for a VP of Product to lead that shift – not just set the direction, but personally drive it.
You’ll partner closely with our founders on our biggest strategic bets, and define where the Product organization goes from here. This is as much an execution role as a strategic one, especially on AI – we need someone who rolls up their sleeves, not just someone who assigns it to others.
What You’ll Own
- Own the product strategy, portfolio priorities, and roadmap together with our founders and leadership team.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of product managers.
- Act as Mesh’s de facto AI lead in Product – deciding, product by product, whether AI accelerates a workflow or removes it entirely, and personally driving the initiatives that matter most.
- Set the norm that Product builds with AI coding tools, not just talks about them – prototyping yourself when it matters, and expecting the same instinct from every PM on the team.
- Turn complex financial workflows into scalable, intuitive products with Engineering and Design.
- Align Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success around priorities and trade-offs.
- Represent the product direction with the board, investors, customers, and partners.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience as a VP of Product, CPO, or in an equivalent executive product leadership role within a B2B SaaS company – must.
- 8+ years of product management experience, including building and leading Product teams – must.
- A strong bias toward execution over delegation – you use AI coding tools daily (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar) to prototype, automate, or ship things yourself, can point to something real you built end-to-end, and expect the same from the PMs you hire – must.
- A track record of leading AI strategy at the organizational level – not just experimenting, but deciding where AI creates real business leverage and owning the outcomes – must.
- A track record of scaling a Product org – not just running one – through a fast-growth stage, including the hiring and mentoring that comes with it.
- Strong product and UX judgment, with the ability to simplify complex problems.
- Experience communicating product direction to boards, investors, or senior executives.
- Proven experience owning a multi-product portfolio; fintech, payments, or financial software experience is a strong advantage.
- Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to build trust across Product, Engineering, Design, and GTM.
- Decisive leadership, strong judgment, and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment.
