Steps to Take Before Cancelling

Keep a few things in mind before canceling Trello:

You can cancel your Trello subscription at any time.
Make sure there aren’t any debts on your account before you cancel.
Your account will be downgraded to a free plan when you unsubscribe.
You will retain your premium features until your billing cycle ends.
To completely cancel your plan, you will need to be an administrator.

What Happens to Your Account When You Close It

When you cancel your subscription, you will lose access to all of the premium features contained within your existing boards. However, you will still have access to your boards and their content with the free version when you unsubscribe. In essence, you will still be able to use their service, but your overall user experience will be much more limited than it was before.

Only your ten most active and used Trello boards will be maintained once you cancel your paid subscription. The rest will be deleted, and all of the information will be lost forever. Make sure you manually back up any critical information before you cancel your subscription.
