In this guide we’ll walk you through the steps of how to cancel your QuickBooks subscription.
QuickBooks is the most widely used accounting software globally, which facilitates a unified tracking of any company’s finances, secures the accounting work, and makes it more efficient.
This software organizes accounting information using lists and real-time records of any accounting movement. Quickbooks allows the user to know exactly the current state of their finances and to track in detail any income or expense that happens in their company. This visibility enables small, medium, and large companies to make strategic decisions in real-time and continuously improve.
QuickBooks offers three monthly payment options for its customers:
The steps to cancel QuickBooks Online depend on where you signed up for your subscription. If you signed up through a mobile app store, you would need to go to the app store to cancel.
You will need to understand the difference between suspending payments and canceling services. If you cancel your subscription, you might still get billed. Therefore, it’s best to ensure you don’t have any recurring payments or canceled payments before canceling the subscription.
QuickBooks will retain your data for trial and paid subscriptions for one year. That allows you to continue with your current data if you decide to return. After one year, Quickbooks will delete the data. During that year, the account will be in read-only mode, allowing you to review, export, and print data, but you will not be able to make changes to the ledgers. When you log in to the company selection page, you will be able to view the expired files under Canceled Companies.
